Aikido as the Cure

Aikido is the remedy for the sick world. There are evil and chaos in the world because people forgot that all things are originated from the One Source. Return to this Source and leave all egoistic thoughts, empty desires and anger. The whole world belongs to you if you do not belong to the power of nothing.
Morihei Ueshiba, quote 4.

Brief Comment

Part 1 (need for the cure)

Aikido practice is a constant sequential process of transition from the state of the observer to the state of the participant. The object of our transformations (our self) is constantly striving to get out from the influence of the applied medical instrument (Aikido). Our goal is to reveal the courage in recognition of the flaw in one’s heart to take the bitter cure and strive for healing.

The existing flaw not only immerses us into the darkness of the insatiable thirst, but also gives birth to the evil and chaos of our world. Only the recognition of the evil (flaw) in our self, which can be clearly identified within the Aikido practice, makes it possible to detect this flaw and feel the need for healing. Up till this moment, the “sick” does not know that they are sick and they are in the need of heeling. Like the taste of the new meal, the True Aikido can be revealed inside the awakened heart within the process of the Aikido practice.

Part 2 (the source of healing)

On the other hand, the Way of the Aiki practitioner is the step by step approach to the realization of the only source of life and all the good coming from this source. This Source is the creative power of Love – the foundation of creation and maintenance of our world. It is essential to understand the active role of the creational power of Love comparing to the passive entity of the creatures in order to build their productive cooperation, i.e. to progress in the treatment and approach to healing.

There is a curtain, which does not allow a person to feel neither the Source, nor the Good from the Source, nor its Uniqueness (when it is one). There is a Great Idea behind the fact that natural people feel emptiness in the place where there is the complete filling. It happens due to the flaw of the self, which does not allow us to see the true picture and enjoy the Good prepared for us. At the same time, the self of a person perceives itself as the only existing while it is actually nothing. Morihey Ueshiba says about the need to exit from under the power of our egoistic self (nothing) and submitting to the government of the One Source, who makes all things to exist, in perfect balance.

Aikido, as the True Remedy, has been presented to us for an opportunity to be healed. This opportunity is about the revelation of the true desire by a Man for submitting to the power of Love coming from the One Source.
